1. Who is responsibe for treating your personal data?

2. What type of personal data do we collect and how do we treat it?

GALERÍA CANALEJAS will treat your personal data for the following purposes:


Commercial communications

  • Purpose of treatment. The sending of commercial communications and/or newsletters about fashion, food, news, and events related to GALERÍA CANALEJAS.
  • Type of data treated. Email address.
  • Legal grounds of treatment. Express consent to accept the communications sent when providing an email address through an enabled form. However, there is a right to withdraw said consent at any time and no longer receive any commercial communications. To do this, follow the steps indicated in section 4. Exercising your rights or click the “Unsubscribe” link found in each communication you are sent.
  • Who will be sent your data? GALERÍA CANALEJAS will not assign your personal data to any third party unless there is any legal obligation to do so. There will also not be any international transfers of your personal data to countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA).
  • Data storage period. Your data will be stored in order to be treated if your consent is not withdrawn. Nevertheless, every two years, GALERÍA CANALEJAS will ask you if you want to continue to receive these communications.

  • Type of data treated. We will treat the information you provide us with through your CV and cover letter.
  • Legal grounds of treatment. Express consent by sending your CV to the address careers@galeriacanalejas.com. However, there is a right to withdraw said consent at any time and no longer receive any commercial communications. To do this, follow the steps indicated in section 4. Exercising your rights.
  • Who will be sent your data? Provided that you grant us with express consent to do so by sending an email to the indicated address, GALERÍA CANALEJAS can communicate your details to different GALERÍA CANALEJAS brands and establishments, which you can see below:
    • Boutiques
    • Food Hall

      In other cases, there is no intention to assign your data to third parties, unless there is a legal obligation to do so. There will also not be any international transfers of your personal data to countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA).
  • Data storage period. Your data will be stored in order to be treated if your consent is not withdrawn. However, if your information is not updated, as of the two years following your CV or cover letter being received, we will remove your data from our system.

Cookies

When you access our website we will also collect data through cookies, which record information about the website’s visitors and users, as well as their equipment, devices, browser actions and patterns.

4. Exercising your rights

Exercising your data protection rights is free, and in the interest of transparency, we will provide you with more information about these rights:

Right to access, rectification, and erasure. You can review your personal data by requesting a copy of it from any of the addresses provided; as well as request the rectificaiton of any inaccurate data or, if applicable, the erasure of any data when, among other reasons, the data is not neccessary for the reasons stated for its collection.

Right to opposition: In certain circumstances and for reasons related to your specific situation, you may oppose the treatment of your data. In this case, your data will no longer be treated unless in legitimate and compelling circumstances that can be certified, or for the exercising or defence of any possible claims.

Right to limit treatment: In certain circumstances, you can request that the treatement of your data be limited, so that we may only use your data in those cases authorised by law.

Right to portability: When the data is collected in a structured format, you may request for the direct transfer of your data to other responsible parties or to receive your data electronically, to then store it on your own devices, without it having to be transferred to other parties.

Right to withdraw your consent: When the treatment of your data is based on consent, you can withdraw said consent at any time without this affecting the legality of the previous use of your data.

You can exercise your rights as follows:

Finally, in the case you consider that the data treatment carried out by GALERÍA CANALEJAS is not completely legal, you can file a claim with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, in Spanish).
