FALL IN LOVE ON VALENTINE'S DAY WITH THE BEST PLANS AT THE GALERÍA CANALEJAS FOOD HALL

February 9, 2022

For Valentine’s Day, why not take your special someone out for dinner, find somewhere intimate for the perfect surprise or simply enjoy a sunset cocktail at the Galería Canalejas Food Hall this year.

From his boutique restaurant offering the essence of Castilian cuisine, 19.86 by Rubén Arnanz, chef Rubén Arnanz has created Sex on Madrid for this special occasion, a delicate and fragrant cocktail made with champagne, red fruits, forest berries and gold dust for a touch of sparkle.

At The Eight, the award-winning chef Julián Mármol is offering a selection of signature deserts that include the delicious lime and strawberry carlota and the chocolate mille crêpe. For Monchis, he has created the BesaMex cocktail, made with tequila, ginger beer and raspberry foam.

The French Ostras Sorlut restaurant is joining in the celebrations to offer its Pecado In Love tasting menu, a genuine aphrodisiac for two with Baeri Royal Sélection caviar accompanied by a sublime French champagne.

El Goloso is here to satisfy those with a sweet tooth this 14 February with delicious heart-shaped chocolate treats to take away, as well as its special boxes of sweets with exotic flavours.

For lovers of Italian cuisine, Davvero has prepared a special Valentine’s Day menu of four dishes, including its risotto with a Dry Martini, rosemary and lemon emulsion or its chocolate mousse with home-made sponge crunch and red fruits. Amorino has opted for a romantic presentation of its famous Flor de Helado and its already iconic macaroons.

If you would prefer some bite-sized delicacies, then MAD Gourmets has what you’re looking for. This gastronomic market is home to 20 corners offering different specialities and the latest culinary trends from around the world, where you can enjoy the exquisite caviar and champagne at corner Nº 5 or an exotic passion fruit Aperol Spritz at La Spritzeria.

The signature Japanese gastronomy by Salvaje continues to surprise with its daring ideas, while Le Petit Dim Sum takes visitors on an authentic journey through Cantonese tradition and culture.

Finally, if you want to impress or be surprised by products from this country, Spanish gastronomy can be enjoyed in full at St. James. The iconic rice dish restaurant will be offering an extraordinary tasting menu for Valentine’s Day with specialities that include artichoke hearts stuffed with txangurro. It also has an extensive list of original cocktails, such as Belleza y Espinas, with an eye-catching presentation inspired by the rose from Beauty and the Beast. DBellota and Garelos also pay tribute to the wealth of national flavours in their own unique ways.

Fall in love this Valentine’s Day with the offer at the Galería Canalejas Food Hall: a perfect plan that combines a romantic evening or gourmet treat with the best gastronomic offer in the city.
