In the Galería Canalejas Food Hall, chef Rubén Arnanz has found the perfect opportunity to open his first gastronomic project in Madrid.

“Being part of Galería Canalejas is a new challenge to continue doing my best in a new and unique setting. It is a magnificent place with great luxury labels where our cuisine will shine in the capital.”– Rubén Arnanz.

His restaurant, 19.86 by Rubén Arnanz, named after the year he was born, is a proposal based on his dual cultural heritage, Castilian and Mediterranean, where he shares the essence of his lucid and dynamic cuisine.

Chef Rubén Arnanz was awarded a Michelin star at the age of 29, making him one of the youngest chefs to obtain this recognition. His extensive travels around the world and his approach to diverse cultures have inspired him to create a culinary movement that has made him the catalyst of the nouvelle Castilian cuisine.

Arnanz’s mission is to stimulate all the senses while highlighting the produce of his land and domestic ingredients, creating a cuisine of pure flavours in a restaurant that also features an exclusive area where a small number of people can enjoy his cuisine live.

If you are passionate about national gastronomy, you can now enjoy Ruben Arnanz’s new venture at the Galería Canalejas Food Hall; a boutique restaurant where his varied and highly personal cuisine coexists in harmony with delicious cocktails and soulful wines.
