GUIDED TOUR OF THE HISTORIC FAÇADES OF CENTRO CANALEJAS MADRID AND GALERÍA CANALEJAS
Galería Canalejas, in collaboration with APIT, Professional Association of Tourist Guides of Madrid, is offering a special service to explore the city in the company of official guides and to discover the cultural heritage of the monumental buildings that house Centro Canalejas Madrid, as well as the interior of this new icon of luxury.

Description of the tour:
The tour starts at Calle Alcalá, 10, the main entrance to Galería Canalejas. From there, visitors will enjoy a walk around the outside of Galería Canalejas to discover the history of Madrid since 1900. This walk will include information about the San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts, the Casino, Centro Canalejas Madrid, the buildings that stand on Calle Alcalá and the history of the important banks that surrounded Galería Canalejas; a different and informative way to enjoy this historic, cultural and architectural part of the city.
After walking along Calle Alcalá to the iconic corner where the Hermès boutique can be found, visitors will start walking down Calle Sevilla until they reach the main door to Galería Canalejas. Once inside, they will be told about the grand skylight. Here, visitors can decide how they want to finish their tour. Perhaps by discovering the boutiques of Galería Canalejas or by exploring the delights on offer from the chefs in the Galería Canalejas Food Hall.
Tours are available in Spanish, English or French, as well as other languages upon request. In order to guarantee an excellent service, tour groups will be no larger than 10 people and will adapt to the availability expressed by customers. Payment should be made when making your booking. No refunds will be provided when cancelling less than 48 hours in advance.
